In short. DriveFlow is a free tool that works on your own Google Drive, on your instruction. Check each preview before you confirm. DriveFlow is provided as it is, without promises that it will be error-free, and the privacy policy explains how your data is handled.
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and Laksh Bagdi, an independent developer in India ("we"), and cover the DriveFlow Chrome extension ("DriveFlow") and this website. By installing or using DriveFlow you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use DriveFlow. You must be old enough to have your own Google Account and to enter into a contract where you live.
2. The service
DriveFlow adds a panel to drive.google.com that shows folder sizes, finds duplicates and big or old files, and lets you move files to the Bin or to other folders, rename, create folders, share, and send files between your own Google accounts, with an Undo for each change. It is free at launch. We may add, change or remove features, and we may start charging in future; if we do, the privacy policy and this page will say so first.
3. Your Google account
- DriveFlow works with your Google Account and your Google Drive through permissions that you grant on Google's consent screen. Google's own terms and policies apply to your use of Google services, and DriveFlow is not part of Google.
- You can take back any permission at any time in your Google Account settings. Without a permission, the features that need it stop working.
- You are responsible for the account you connect and for keeping your computer and Chrome profile secure, because DriveFlow keeps its working copy of your Drive's file list there.
4. Your responsibilities
- Only use DriveFlow on Google accounts and files you own or are allowed to manage.
- Read each preview before you confirm. DriveFlow acts on what you tick.
- Some changes affect other people. Changes in a shared drive apply to everyone in it, and sharing gives other people access to your files. DriveFlow tells you before you confirm, but the decision is yours.
- Follow the laws that apply to you and the terms of the services you use.
5. Changes to your files
DriveFlow moves files to Google Drive's Bin rather than deleting them for good, never empties your Bin, and keeps a record of each change for 30 days so you can undo it. Undo depends on Google's services and on the files still being available, for example because Google, you or another person has not emptied the Bin or removed the files in the meantime. We cannot promise that every change can be undone. Keep your own backups of anything important.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use DriveFlow to break the law, to access an account or files you are not allowed to access, to interfere with Google's services, or to overload them. Do not copy, resell or repackage DriveFlow as your own, or try to remove its notices, except as the law allows.
7. Ownership
DriveFlow, its name, logo and website belong to us. Your files and data stay yours: these terms give us no rights over your Drive content, and DriveFlow does not read it. Google, Google Drive and Chrome are trademarks of Google LLC. DriveFlow is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google.
8. No warranty
DriveFlow is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the sizes and duplicate matches it shows will always be complete, or that it will keep working if Google changes its services.
9. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of DriveFlow, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for DriveFlow, which is nothing while it is free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Ending and changes
You can stop using DriveFlow at any time by removing it from Chrome and taking back its access in your Google Account. We may suspend or end DriveFlow, or your access to it, if we need to, for example if Google withdraws our access or the law requires it. We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continuing to use DriveFlow after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts of India, except where the law of the place you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
